It's been fluctuating around the ~$4 range for about half a decade now...we're lucky it's still there really.

But at the same time, Mobile saw an incredibly high increase in profit, obviously, they're over-charging us for gas because they know that they can.

Keep in mind that European countries essentially pay $8+ for a gallon of gas.

My Ride: a car
Filled up today at 4.54/gal. Went to get my flu shot and passed by the same gas station, and and the price went up to 4.69/gal. No more than a 45 minutes.

Sent from my SCH-I535 using Bimmer App

I'm seriously considering switching to a more fuel efficient car, too bad the new turbo powered 4 cylinder BMWs just came out and are still expensive. Audi's 2.0T sounds like a nice option though.

Yes. Ugh want it SO bad.
I have a suspicion that the government has something to do with it not coming here because I know for a fact vw has been trying to bring it over.
It makes the Prius look like a pickup in terms of economy

WANT IT

Is that 90 mpg based on the US gallon or the Imperial gallon?

As for $4.50 I'm paying in San Diego, a few years ago last time prices were this high people were freaking out and selling their SUVs and/or buying motorcycle and scooters. I just don't see the same panic anymore about $4 - $5 gas. I guess we are getting use to it, which is the sad part.

I may ride my motorcycle to commute more, though when I factor in tires and other more expensive motorcycle maintenance stuff, It may not actually be worth saving a few bucks on gas. Though splitting lanes in heavy traffic, which is legal here, is a good benefit.

Pretty much

But as high as it may seem to you, we have it pretty good compared to the rest of europe. Drove down through Germany this summer and it was even higher. No wonder we have so many small diesel cars.

Makes it even more annoying when we hear people state side complaining about high gas prices.
