And yes.. delete means you just took something out in this case i deleted my 40lb sunroof and replaced it with a 4lb piece of carbon fiber. Some guy is selling them on ebay its not hard to find

I hate having my sunroof, I wish my car had factory sunroof delete. I agree with you on it not looking good on a light colored car. I wonder how it would look with sunroof delete and a matte or cf roof wrap over the entire thing?

Except that I'm not racing, so 40lbs doesn't make a squirt of difference to me... So to each his own I guess. I like my sunroof, I like the way it looks when it's peaked up, and i like the fresh air when it's open. I live in Florida, so in the fall, it is awesome. Cool (warmish) air sunshine... perfect. But enjoy. I look forward to seeing some pics soon.

It means you take something out and replace it with something simpler usually. Like I did a muffler delete on my car, where I took the muffler off and replaced it with just straight pipes. This guy took out his sunroof and replaced it with a light carbon fiber panel.

ive seen them painted and it looks ok.. but they do look much better on black. the silicone would be pretty ugly on a car that isnt black too. im certainly not going for show car status.. i just love driving and working on my car. i do love the "raw" look and im kinda going for that with my car. im finding a balance between stripped out and minimal looking and comfortable/ functional for everyday. i plan on a racing seat for the drivers side and after that i should be right at 3000 lbs.

i also recently painted my interior trim flat black and bought the armrest delete console. i made that shift knob and ive gotten plenty of hate for it but i love it haha.

nice... those connectors that are on there that plug into the back of the HU (since I'm assuming you made this) where did those connectors come from? were those connectors already on the computer cable that was connected to the computer?

You can always buy an AUX cable from the dealer for around $50 and just install it yourself. It has plenty of slack so if you plan to have it come through the glove box or the sunglass try it has plenty of reach. Good luck to you.

check. if not sure. double check... and if you figured it out... triple check.
lesson learned but i had fun. water was on the passenger footwell(left side). tried to trace where the leak came from. it seemed to start at the mid section of the car where the AC was. took everything out, seats, carpet dash the lot. found a small wear on one of the o-rings from the heater matrix. replaced it and closed her up. few days later still had same problem but at least it wasn't as bad as before. i was sure that the matrix and pipe works were ok. eventually I found the leak and it came from the door where there was plastic holding the corner speakers.
I remembered that i replaced them with a better twitter a few weeks back.
next time. don't be to excited in opening her up...
note: BMW E46 318i sedan.
P.S.:i'm never going to sell my car. now that i've bought an engine from a 325....hehehehe
