Congrats mate! Imola Red is a fantastic colour

If you're in Adelaide, get Hamish from Elite Finish to detail it for you....he did Andrew's car too.

I will look him up and give him a call. Thanks for that. I was wondering who I was going to get to detail it.

@Scotty_89, The car just got dropped of at Ceva in Perth for the ride to Adelaide. I'm thinking still a week at least. But once its been detailed and what not, I will get some pics.

I'm way too anxious right now. Hope I can pick it up the moment it arrives!!!

Has anyone bought wheels from VMR? Thinking of taking advantage of their offer...

^ I had the stage 2 + opticoat. Hamish does some great work. I know VMR wheels are popular in the US, I think they are decent.

OK! Tomorrow is the day!! Picking up the ride tomorrow morning at 8. Cannot wait! Going to have to give Hamish a call in a few days to get my ride detailed. So many ideas and things I want to do. Wheels and coilovers are on my mind!

ating, will be pretty keen to go for a bit of a drive and meet some other M3 owners around town.

Will post pics when I pic it up also.

Nice! Sure, sounds good. If you're on facebook go "like" the BMW SA Club. They'll post when the next meet is. I think they do one every few months and seeing that the weather is getting better, they should be more regular. You don't need to be a member to join their cruises.

That is basically the look I want to get. Maybe some different wheels but the black grills and vents.

I have had a few issues here with the car in regards to it being a personal import. I have to go through Regency for a full inspection. I have been waiting for a statement of requirements from them for 2 weeks and when i finally got it. The xenon globe went and I had to get that replaced. I have it booked in for Wednesday morning for the inspection. Should be all sweet by then.
Might order a dynavin head unit tonight.

My car is now finally registered! What a hassle that was. (only because I'm impatient and wanted to be driving it already!!) The process of getting an exemption for a personal import was pretty easy and the check was good too. Had a good chat with the inspector. Worst thing happened though. My drivers side headlight wouldnt come on. But he let it slide. Get home today and its working. Anyone else have that issue?

That is awesome!! How good is that I'm up to 3 pages with only one crappy pic?

Got euro plates. The fit across the back and front perfectly. You mean the plate holder on the front?

I like the plate holder for now. But ill see. Ive blown through a tonne of cash lately. But first thing is matte black grills and gills. Then Dynavin unit. Guy before me had an alpine unit in it but kept it. But the pic ating posted is the look ill be going for. Thats it for the immediate future. Then some coilovers and not sure what from there. Oh and some new wheels later on. Was thinking some VRM wheels but I might hold of for a while.

My Ride: G6E Turbo
Hi guys, finally found a local thread to talk about M3.. lol
andrijko, congrats on the purchase ! Now i can't stop thinking about getting this car that I came across the other day. My current is G6E Turbo which is a beast, but M3 is just the car that i have always wanted to own.

http://www.carsales.com.au/private/d...sort=~Odometer

this one is from 2002, but very well maintained (at least from the pic) and has low K's.. the price is a bit steep though.
