You are right about them being clueless, but I've NEVER had a problem going to the Apple store. Make an appointment online and if something is indeed wrong with it, you get a new phone on the spot...Bet you can't do that with samsung or motorola...

not yet... I'm sure it will be only 3 months or so before they crack IOS6

Ah okay! I may just wait it out. I'm fine with my Google Nexus S 4G, but I'll give the iPhone a shot if I can jailbreak it and run the programs/apps that I want. My buddy is willing to sell me a "basically new" 4S for $150.00, but it would cost me the same amount to upgrade to a 5, so if I decide to do it I'd rather go for the newer iteration of the iPhone.

That is beyond lame.
The purpose of a being able to scroll through your gallery is to quickly select the one that you want to display. What he did completely killed that feature. Sure, others can't see it, but neither can he. After a few days he won't know what each thumbnail is and won't be able to select, let alone now he needs to edit and resize the picture before deciding "no, this is not it".
If those were my pron, I'd lose my boner before I can display the pic.

my battery on the 4s is sucking so bad it's not even funny. It's noon and I went from 100 at 6 am to 22% right now. just occasional texts and facebook browsing.

Mine use to be that way to, every once in a while I'd have to go to settings, safari, and then clear cookies and date, and clear history too then it would do much better.

my battery life on the 5 is awful. Same settings as my 4 and just sucks battery life. Luckily I haven't gone too far with it where I need it charged completely for a long time but if I were to do a day trip somewhere I'd be concerned. I almost think there is something wrong with it. Occasional email checks, and instagram peeks and i'm at 57 % since 8am.

edit just checked. apparently I used it for 3.5 hours today. How is that even possible when just texting and sh1t
