Just heard on the news a lot of independent gas stations are closing since they refuse to charge that much. Also there could be a shortage for some reason. Prices will continue to go up... wonderful.

Even though the average price of regular is about $4.59 here in San Diego, I did find an out of the way Valero station in a big truck stop area that had regular at $3.99!!!

That's less than what I was paying two months ago! Hopefully it will last, though I doubt it.

Usually its a $0.10 difference between 87 and 89 and then a $0.25-$0.40 difference between 89 and 92/93.

See it a lot. The gas stations don't want to pay the fee associated with the card so they offer discounts for paying with cash.

I don't think it makes a difference in California. It's going to vote democrat either way.
