I agree, get the correct M lower steering wheel trim. It won't have that split spoke but wider and solid. It'll fit correctly and you can see where old one sat before by the leather. That wheel uses the M steering wheel lower trim and someone put the Sport split spoke trim there.
I would also go maybe black or shadow on the trim.

what they said, and add a ZHP shift knob too.
The wheel is strange. At first glance it looks like a modified M3 wheel, with the normal sport steering wheel lower cover. But I also thought the lower covers were interchangable between the two wheels (could be wrong). Maybe its an aftermarket/generic M3 wannabe wheel and previous owner tried to retrofit the stock lower cover? I dunno, but it doesn't work. Try to find a nice used M3 or sport wheel with new covers. |

The wood trim isn't the problem, it's the grandpa's caddy dove grey that's the problem.

It looks like the PO put a new steering wheel trim on, but it is for the Sport steering wheel and not the M steering wheel. The M wheel doesn't have a split spoke at the bottom. Its a $150 part haha.
How did another poster know you had 10K lights on there? @325inthe510: why is he an idiot? I just don't see it. Are you referring to the 8Ks? haha |

OP, get the proper wheel cover for your m3 wheel. A zhp knob. Get rid of the dove grey seats and put black seats in there. It will be more of a 2 tone project but will contrast nice. I am thinking to do the same with my beige interior. The wood trim is not out of place, but if you dont like it, wrap it or paint it piano black. Now, get rid of that red window switches.

First of all, you have no right saying that to me, just because i am young doesnt mean that i dont care as much about my car as the rest of us, i worked for my car. i know how it feels to earn something. second of all, I bought the car like this. i am not a "fcking high school idiot" I wanted to know how to FIX all the stupid stuff the PO did to the car. I have not done any mods to the interior except the red needles, and i CF wrapped the consol around the shift knob. everything else was done by the PO. so please think before you post. Thanks.

Thanks everyone for the advice. i will look into getting the proper lower trim piece for the steering wheel, i will get new window switches (thought the red was strange when i bought it), and eventually i will get either grey or black sport seats.

First, are those HID bulbs in projectors? If not, get rid of them and replace them with standard halogen bulbs, or swap out the reflectors for a proper projector retrofit.
Second, if you do in fact have projector headlights, swap out those 10000k bulbs that look r1cetastic for some OEM spec 4300k bulbs. Your car will look at least 13.5x more classy with OEM spec bulbs. Next, ZHP shift knob. Looks better, feels better, is better. CF wrap trim mebby? Leatherique your seats to black. Or, if you want sport seats (probably), go look in the classifieds, on craigslist, and on ebay for some black sport seats. If you are spendy, you can usually find a nice set of heated, black M3 seats for <$1k.
