So I lowered my car a little

I drove a lowered Miata for 7 years/200k miles. If there was a beer can laying on its side in the road, it would catch under the car. To this day, I still clench up when I see debris on the road. It will get tiring, I promise.

Scariest debris I ever encountered: a full size, heavyweight dining room table, standing upright in the middle of my lane on I-85 at 3:00am, when I was doing triple digits. It was so out of place, that my mind could not register what I was seeing. The table top was at about head level. I barely missed it. I could see the friggin wood grain on it as I passed. I can only guess someone lost it off the back of a pickup.

I know that story probably isn't funny to you. But I laughed
If it makes you feel better I hit what looked like a flip flop on the interstate and it turned out to be something metal that has cost me a month of time and (so far) about $700 in parts.

yeah it does suck. a little word of advice now that you're lowered.
always! keep your plastic under engine panel on. it probably saved me a lot of trouble. there's a huge rip in it but i'm willing to bet i would've lost my oil pan and then possibly ruined my engine if i didn't have it.
maybe even invest in a skid plate. not sure where it'd mount on the e46 though.

Holy sheets of water. My worst was a few garbage bags on I-75.

A guy I work with ran over an empty plastic garbage bag, and it got caught on the catalytic converter, and caught fire. The car eventually filled with smoke, they got out, and it burned to the ground. It was one month old. I always make sure to avoid bags when I can, and if not, I make sure I see them come out the back!

Oh, well then that's acceptable. I like the funny looks people give so I prefer the fishbowl. Its all good as long as the coils are temporary. Just my .02 though.

yes im going look into making a custom skid plate always helps if i ever go over some rough road

go for it these are oem wheels as you will see pretty soon i change up wheels alot
