Washed and hoover, need to do more than normal now. Always parked under trees at work so gets dirty quick.

Same for me, I just put new rear tires on 4 months ago and they will need to be changed soon. My fronts are still looking good after 8 months. Im going to change my RTAB's before putting on new tires and see if that helps

I wouldn't be shocked if the next set of tires does the same thing. It's not just e46s. I think it's a combination of front engine, RWD and BMW's factory alignment specs. The rear tires just always wear faster on the inner portion.

You could try going with a harder tread in the back...

It's the RTAB's. Change them and get alignment and you are good to go.

I have new RTABs and I get my car is usually freshly aligned. My rears still wear faster than the fronts. Stand behind your car and you will see why.

I recently took a set of tires of a 2011 135i with only 12k on the car. Rears have 60% while the fronts have almost 90%.

I was just reffering to the gas pedal with my prob. Maybe other guy has different issues. Mine wear perfectly even across. I like the hankooks. I think they are awesome blend between grip and treadwear. It does take quite abit of hard driving to wear em out in 3 months. What kinds are you guys runnin?

I'm running hankook v12's. I know the backs usually wear out faster than the fronts but this is ridiculous. I bought 4 new tires when I purchased the car 8 months ago. Replaced the rears 4 months ago and got an alignment. Now I have to replace the rears again soon while the fronts still look healthy after 8 months. I do my fair share of spirited driving, but i NEVER spin the wheels/burnout or anything like that. This is why I'm thinking its the RTAB's.

Oh for sure you got issues. I roast my tires quite abit to wear em out in 3 months. I dont do donuts or brake torques but i like gettin loose in the ass end. (the car im talking about, nothing else)Are they Wearing uneven or just quick?

The first time I replaced my tires, the inner portion wore out faster. I got an alignment when I replaced the tires and now they are wearing out evenly, just rapidly lol

Maybe someone else can help you bettert but is there not a way you could check parts like rtabs before replacing? Like put car on hoist or set tires on top of blocks and bounce it while you feel parts? Toed in too much?

I'm not sure of a way to check without pulling out the RTA, but I'm overdue for new bushings anyway, so I'll just replace them all. If that doesn't help then I'll just slit my wrist lol
