After some spirited driving, which I've never done before in the M, I have a new view on the smg gearbox. Normal driving it's not really that great but when spirited/tracked, it's like twice as good (for non professionals)

Always drive within your own and the car's limits and we all get home in one piece. You should come along to the GAR cruise in 3 weeks time.

Good and bad day. Nice meeting everybody and had a fun cruise.

Couldn't dodge a flying rock towards me on the way down from Sky High. Car in infornt of me went round a bend wide where it met with a gravel driveway, resulted in a loud crack which I did think to my self, "Hope it doesn't crack like my Pajero did..." Inspected it this morning and to my horror....

Don't think its repairable like most windscreens, and I get the feeling its going to continue to run across the field of vision right at eye level. Its already webbed to the edge. OEM Comfort Glass as well ... gonna be a costly repair...

Netgun.. throwing racks, must be Palestinian!
Got some window cover on your insurance? It won't spread like a windscreen crack as there isn't as much pressure on the side windows while your driving (unless you drive sideways

)

Wasn't NetGun

Got the rock from the drift car before he overtook NetGun not too soon after we left Sky High. Just bad luck the rock didn't hit 2 cm to the right then it would have hit rubber.

Eric, that is a windscreen crack, just on a driver side half way up.

Nope didn't get glass cover, kicking myself for it now as its was only $50 with AAMI. Just the horror stories of cheapie glass replacements from other people when replacing glass with insurance companies.

Ironically I would be happy with it was the rear side flap glass

But then I would have no window instead of a cracking one
