Just sent my MT Et drag radials to the shop that's doing the body work. Hope they mold my fenders nice around them!

Look at these bad boys!!! Now keep in mind they cut the fenders just to move my car and their molding the fenders around the wheels. So who now thinks going deep dish in front is wack? Speak now because after their done with the wide body the people that were talkin their s@#t im gonna make them gonna eat it! P.S. thats not me in the car!..haha

Ya that's gonna look sick so what are they gonna do about the side skirts? Gonna tie it into the front/rear quarters? The dish doesn't look like 4" at the front but could be the pics on my Iphone, can't wait to see it too I might have my fronts done this winter if yours turns out proper!

The fronts are a couple mm short of 4in. The pictures don't do it justice.Zoom on it and u can tell its pretty deep.

Can't wait to see the outcome I might have mine redone this winter depending how yours and Patmans come out, I like mine I just wish they were tied into the side skirts (didn't want this at first because i wanted it to look stockish)

From my understanding my shop said that widening the rear is more difficult to keep that stock look, because if u look at how the rear side skirts sorta tucks in.

When done right, wide body kits look cool. That PTG / GTR cars have always looked fab in my opinion. About wide body M's, there is a fellah at DAI in South OC who has not one, but two wide body M3s, and they're put together fairly well. Anyways, good luck and keep up the journal/progress photos.

305 on a 12" wheel? so this is a hellaflush drift car.
are those metal flares or plastic? should look nice when its all completed!

I hope they dressed those cuts on the factory sheetmetal. Looks like a 2 year did the cutting.
Second, the choice of using universal fiberglass fender flares that are not even shaped to fit the body lines? Widebody is never a cheap proposition, so why have it done cheaply? |
