why 2009??? 07 08 have forged internals... 09 they went back to cast.
I'd take forged internals over looks ANY day of the week. Quote:

Tampa- I didn't know that. Good call.
Also, my wife had an s2000 6 speed in 2005 and it was a blast to drive. |

I thought a RX8 was a fun car.....
A s2k would be a good choice, but you have to me a midget to fit in one. |

it's really just supposed to be an upgrade/replacement to my 328i. something comparable price wise and performance wise to an m3

I purchased 2005 S2000 with seven miles on it and had it for 6 years. Never had any serious issues. I loved that car, but I love my 2005 M3 more. The only issue I had with the S2000 was the top. For some reason, the top wears extremely fast. I babied mine and I still saw serious signs of wear on the top on both the passenger and driver's side. Other then the top issue, the car was a joy to drive. I would buy another one if I had to.

Yeah, I've read that guys up to 6'4 have driven it daily with stock rails, but when I sat in one (at 6'3), my knees were hitting the steering wheel with the chair all the way back. There was no way, but I guess everyone is built different.

E46 M3?
-0-60mph in about 4.9 seconds -Decent coilovers put this car up there in P-car and the like handling category (depends on driver though) -Timeless look -333bhp from a 3.2 inline 6 -8k rpm -Comfortable seats with room for 4-5 -Decent trunk size -Reliable (at least for me it has) -Probably the most rounded car you can get for under $20k that still has the appeal of a $60k car |

For a 2005 with 120K miles in today's market you can probably stretch for $13K...but you already sold it and moved onto something better so no worries!
