Will the M3 Go 60 MPH in 1st gear?
Never drove one before. But overhear someone say that their "M3" can go 100km/h in first gear? Is this possible?

Ive never tried it but I don't think so. It gets really close though. Ill check tomorrow and let you know haha

I would say no chance.
Here: http://www.bokchoys.com/differential...calculator.htm Says about 40mph/65km/h in first and 67MPH/107km/h in second. Which sounds about right with me not going out for a drive. |

I'm kinda surprised you M3 owners don't know this. Drive harder, damnit! on the track of course!

? >(thread). Ask your friends if 6th does 540mph. Also ask if they are using 7.10 diffs.

More like a diff ratio of 2.3.
6th would be about 325mph. |

1st 40 mph 2nd 66 mph 3rd 100 mph 4th 136 mph 5th 167 mph 6th 202 mph 391 diff (BMW Motorsport CWP available) 1st 37 mph 2nd 62 mph 3rd 93 mph 4th 127 mph 5th 156 mph 6th 188 mph 410 diff (BMW Motorsport CWP available) 1st 35 mph 2nd 59 mph 3rd 89 mph 4th 121 mph 5th 149 mph 6th 179 mph hope this helps alittle got it in the f.i. forum under a old tread.... bob
