Just picked up my iPhone 5 to read a text from E46Mango and it turned off in my hand. Time for another one.

Not at all! I'm with AT&T and this is my 3rd iPhone 5.

While I have never viewed any drop test videos, I will say that the main reason that I didn't opt for an S3 (..aside from the fact that I feel the phone is too big) is because it felt cheap. I definitely wasn't impressed with the build quality at all. My Google Nexus S feels better built than the S3.

I literally did what he said and it WORKED! They had no problem crediting my $36 back to my account INSTANTLY...

I think after using it for a few days you might warm up to it. My old 4 still feels way more solid and enticing when I hold it, but it's old technology and just because something is heavier in my hand doesn't mean it's actually better.

Tock, I think you just have some bad luck man. There are over 5,000,000 of these phones made, there are going to be some bad eggs.

The thing is, try doing this with Samsung or Nokia, I garauntee that switching a bad phone out through APPLE is MUCH easier than any other cell phone manufacturer.

Dropped AT&T after 5 miserable years...Paid $136 a month for the wife and I on a Family plan...Moved to Sprint on my family's plan, I pay $60 for unlimited everything for two iPhones..AT&T was horrible.

Samsung has that problem with a large percentage of their phones, they're too lightweight, and it makes them feel cheap lol. Luckily I didn't feel that was the case with either the Nexus s or Galaxy Nexus.

The iPhone is definitely very solid feeling and looks good, not cheap feeling at all. But for me iOS just doesn't cut it and no amount of brushed aluminum can change that. Like others have said, an iphone 5 with Jelly Bean installed would be the best of both worlds Maybe iOS will work out for you better though.

$30 per phone, two phones so the total charge is $60. This is a family plan with other family members so we split the bill. Single best way to do it.
