Had some fun driving my car today and drooling over my headlight output

Returned the FPR. BMW ofc used a nearly-proprietary size on the FPR. Even the Bosch part has the last 7 digits of the BMW part number stamped on it. Not sure what to do now. New injectors aren't exactly cost effective and would most likely bump in a lot more fuel than +.5bar FPR. It only leans at weird spots, too. Cruising or right at gear changes and only with very light throttle. Light-medium to heavy load and the car runs perfectly fine. But when it leans I can feel a slight vibration, though there are zero codes other than adaptation limit reached. Maybe it's time to try and modify the stock FPR manually.

ETA: Or I'll cave and get the M3 FPR then hope for the best. Or get the Dinan modified E36 M3 FPR. THey both fit the E39 filter.

today i'll pick up my Timken front bearings from Autozone. $47 each =/ better than BMA's $72 each though haha... They had $29 chinese bearings (bearings and box both said made in china) so wasn't sure if they were rebadged OEMs... didn't want to take the chance. They did appear to be nice quality though.

New Front rotors and pads..; was having some vibrations when braking/slowing down from high speeds.

Ohh, and a new gas cap.
Hopefully this will help prevent the "Check Engine Light", I keep getting; although, everything else has been check before...

FCABs! FCABs! FCABs! well yesterday but ... FCABs FCABs FCABs! Now it drives like a BMW again. Tale-tell signs of rust stains said it was time to do it. Three-jaw puller and a little soap and water makes easy work of the old ones. I did have to destroy one of them.

Plus I picked up my track day wheels and tires. Hankook R-S3s on O.Z. wheels. Can't wait for Willow Springs this Saturday
