I've been meaning to post here for the longest time, now I finally have an excuse. I'm currently performing the full Mtech swap to my Touring. Here's a pic of the finished front, more to follow once it's all completed.

Next up I want to black out the roof (like yours) and get working on the interior. I'd also love some Hartge side mirrors but I'm not sure how easily they'll be to source.

I am thinking 10mm spacer for the rear, plus a fender roll? Yay or nay?

Fucntion>Form. I do like the bilstein sports and hr springs it is on though. I think the handling is almost on par with my dad's old zhp which was on the hr cup kit.

Maybe some St coils and another 1.5inch drop and it should be bueno.

Just got my wheels mounted. I still need to put on the suspension and front bumper. Must admit, I dont think I am liking the new shoes. I may pick up some style 189's tomorrow. What are your thoughts?

I know, right? The PO was a die hard bimmer enthusiast and told me he put on Bilstein sports (I checked them myself, it is true) and hr springs. I looked at the springs and it appears they are the "highest" lowering spring you can buy from hr. I think they are made for a non-sport model and brings the ride height a tad lower than oe sport springs. It is also rumored that billy sports tend to make springs seem a tad higher than usual..

I personally just want to lower the car next year so it has NO fender wheel to gap.

and yes, it is on 18x8 and 18x9 rear.

Just curious if anyone has done an auto to manual conversion on a touring?
