Advice? I'm caught in the middle

I've been wanting smoked corners, smoked side markers, and smoked tail lights for some time now. I have a steel grey M3 and thought it would look great! But the more I see clears, the more I want to get them! Which should I get? Obviously they will be all LED's, but which?

smoked(lightly)
Clears look tacky on steel gray. They look good on more solid colors like black, red...

I have steel gray coupe as well(wish it was an M)

I have smoked khoalty turn signals, smoked side markers and smoked EE tails. It flows better with the black grills.
Also dont forget to do smoked bumper reflectors, front and back.

PS: whatever you do, do the complete set. DONT do half smoked/clear/amber.
PPS: I have 20% tint.

I dont have proper picture of the rear, but here is how my car looks like. I know I have to black out the window trims, but I have been lazy.

DONT do the tints(smoke) yourself. It will be horrible and look rice. Just buy it already tinted.
The amount of tint on the light makes a whole lot of difference.
Just light tint gives you a better look than going all dark or all clear.

Shouldn't this be a lighting or showroom thread?

Nothing personal, OP. Personally I think your car probably looks fine...and judging from your sig, I'm thinking you've got lots of maintenance you could/should be doing...but maybe not.

Winter's coming up...good time to prepare with complete fluids change...belts/pulleys...that sort of thing.

Also, personally, I don't particularly care for either clears or smoked.

Anyway, couldn't let this 'mod' thread pass without mentioning maintenance be done before modding...just in case you hadn't thought of that, or in case someone else reading is amenable to changing his or her priorities.

I'm just being old...nevermind!

I might be 22, this might be my first car (titled to my name and paying for it), and might have bought the car a month ago with only 65,XXX miles. But one thing is certain, MAINTENANCE was the first thing I did before a single bulb was even replaced on this M3

I was thinking when u said don't get half/half you meant the whole tail lights were smoked. I was planning on buying it off bimmian but I haven't decided which one. They offer clears, half smoked, and full smoked including brake lights.

Looks good actually and yeah my window trims are black so it should be fine. But I was thinking of keeping the chrome side and kidney grills to maintain that BMW look.
