My friend's car at H2O a couple weekends back. He actually lowered the front more the following day but I didn't get any pics of it. These are OEM BMW Style 162 (ellipsoid) wheels that he had re-drilled to fit his car. It's the only MK5 VW in the world with this setup.

Something different that you don't see every day. He also has coilovers, spacers and camber plates.

Odd but nice Fitment. I never understood VW guys running wheels from a different auto maker.

Ugliest car there in my opinion. Trying way too hard to be a crowd pleaser. It was probably trailered there because it has a HPF kit

Also a VERY poorly designed widebody. Does not leave room for suspension travel, probably another reason it was trailered! He built a car that cant be driven!

I didn't make it down. But from what I heard there were only a couple stand out cars there this year. And a lot of ehhh cars that shouldn't have been there.
