Can someone let me build their M3 like this please?
Just finished up a 2J swap into a M3 with a Promod 94mm turbo. The car is running on E85-E98. It should be good for about 1700 RWHP but we ran out of fuel at 1405 RWHP.
If you look at the dyno, you can see where the tires let go. I revved it to 9500 but because our dyno calculates RPM by wheel speed, once the tires let go, the rpms stop climbing. If you extrapolate the curve across it would have made close to 1500 if the tires held. The ProEFI calculated 1700 crank HP !!

I'd rather put a s38 in the e46 than a 2jz.

I'd choose the RB26 over the 2Jz personally.

There's a definite potential for a 2j swap in my e46.. I want one so bad. I'm saving up money for one right now. Located in the PNW.

The S54 in my opinion is superior to the 2jz-gte. Both have the same amount of main bearings. Both have oil squirters and both are straight 6 motors. But to even get into the same horsepower level with the S54 head, the 2jz-gte would need head work. Just my $.02
