$100 tints in NJ?
I heard theres a legitimate place in NJ that tint all 5 windows for $100, whatever percentage you want. And I heard their work is top notch.
Anyone know a place like this in central jersey? Around Edison area? And would they guarantee their work in terms of bubbling? and tearing? thanks P.S. this will be my last mod... I hope.

Cheap tint usually means that, cheap quality tint. It'll either fade quickly like 2-3 years and won't be as anti-reflective (some cheap tint just darkens the window and you can see straight through, whereas 3M and Llumar will blur out so you can't see inside easily).

Eugene, Tropic Tint is in Union...same building as IMG and they do great work.
It's not $100, though. They advertise that they 'fix $100 tint jobs'! They just got in some new ceramic tint...forget the name...but it's got some crazy warranty, maybe lifetime...though it costs twice what 3M does. Anyway, Alex and Frankie do great work. IDK pricing on e36, but the coupe does cost less than sedan. It does all the bmw dealers cars around the area...they're really good...and you know I wouldn't kid you!

And doug, Union is a drive for me. I believe tinting would be cheaper for a sedan because the coupe windows are difficult to do since they need to cut around the hole where the back windows open. Please ask

Eugene, I have asked before...coupe is cheaper than sedan...two fewer windows makes a difference.
Anyway, sounds like Ray has a guy for you too. I wish I could tint, but I like cleaning windows too much! Ha!

It's called "pro-tint" Its located in newark or edison. Theres two locations. I got my windows done for $100 bucks and honestly, I regret it. I've had them for about 3 years and the rear window is purple and they all look like 35% when I initially got 20%. I'm going to a reputable shop and getting 5% real soon.

You could get the tint that lasts 2-3 years only problem is the rear window is a pita to remove since it has those defroster lines... I plan to get 5% in about two years or so.........

Tints are easy to remove except the back one. So what is a good number to pay and who does a good job?

I have to remove my own tint because it's faded and purpleish. Definitely wish I spent the extra 100 or 50 bucks on quality tint. Wouldnt be going back or in this predicament.

they do a good job. They offer other kinds of tint, I just got the cheapest one. I'd go to pro-tint but get the $170+ tint
