Anybody figure out a way to get the Android side to boot up (for those of us having issues)?

I emailed Jolly a week ago, but she never responded (go figure).

Yes jolly did not answered any emails...please if any body knows how we can figure the android side update us!!!

Jolly will not support this product. Have emailed several times about Android being locked on boot screen and they will not answer emails. Be warned they will not support this product at all even if its still under warranty. I only had it for 3 weeks then the Android side just sits on the boot screen and i can't use the nav anymore. HELP please if anyone knows how to get this unstuck.

the android unit seems to have more issues than the wince. I have the wince and very satisfied. I have seen some other units such as Erisin ES1046B, I haven't seen it in action, so can't comment but it looks pretty promising especially the wifi part and it's also based on wince..

Does anyone know of any other Dynavin "clones"? Here's what I have so far:

Enco B046/B146
Eonon D5113
Erisin ES1046B

the Enco B046/B146 and Eonon D5113 are the same unit with different model number,and i'm sure they have the same issues with the random boots.. on the other hand Erisin ES1046B is a completely different unit in design and internal software..

It doesn't seem like this unit is any different than the Enco/Eonon...it still runs on Windows CE 6.0, what makes you think it is any better? It comes from China as well. They look all the same in the description and images.

yes they still run on windows ce which is more stable than android units, Yes the Internal components are probably the same. the enco has 2 sd cards, the erisin only has 1 (gps).The erisin have 3g and wifi out of the box, the enco does not. That's why I said they are different in design and internal software (radio interface), and Maybe this unit doesn't have the issues the enco wince has (random boots, volume thingy).

Like i said, I haven't seen anybody with this unit, so i can't comment on its reliability.. It might be the same as enco, or it might be better.. Lastly, Everything comes from china, so this is irrelevant..

After having the WINCE unit for over a 1/2 year here are some things that I have noticed:

The rubber coating on the knobs began to peel off. Even when I first received the coating had small imperfections on the edges. Ended up just peeling it all off and its much better.

The built in mic worked great when I first got it, now its completely useless. From what Ive read theres no plug for an external mic, are there any other options to fix the built in one or tap into the internal one?

Tried 3 different antenna adapters and still cant get the radio to work. Im thinking of just adding an entire antenna to the unit, does anyone have suggestions on this?

The most annoying trait of this unit is when you turn off the car, then turn it on again it goes to a random menu. And when I turn it on it usually goes to the radio which doesnt even work..

Has anyone figured out how to keep it saved to a certain menu?

I have the WinCe version . Everyone knows the Android is full of glitches .so still win
