+/_ to up size to 19" from 18" keeping same profile?
Can I up size from 18" to 19" wheels and keep the same profile? I know # of rotations is different by approx 4%, this will effect odometer, speedometer in small amounts, car body ground clearance/height, etc.
I have a 2004 BMW 330Ci (sport package): OEM: 225/18/40 front 255/18/35 rear I see most sites state a step down in profile when upsizing OA (over all) rim dia. to maintain an OA wheel dia. close to OEM specs: 235/19/35 265/19/30 Would like to try: 235/19/40 front 265/19/35 rear Anyone every done this? I would think I am not the first to ask about this. Input as far as how it all worked? Thanks, Mike |
