It remains recessive in your body.

Once you get it, you never get it again.

I had it in high school , I stayed home for 5 days and was not allowed to work for 30.

LOL......But 3 days after I got out of bed, I took a swim test for scuba diving lessons.
I had to float for 20 minutes in the deep end and then I immediately got out of the pool and had to swim 100 yards .

I damn near drown I was so exhausted............everyone was looking at me like.....is he going to be ok ?
When I told them I had mono the week before they just rolled their eyes and said I should n't be there...but I made it through anyhow...............lol

Different people have different reactions. Some people don't know they had it, others get extremely sick. I got really sick when I had it in highschool and I was out for 3 weeks. After I got better my immune system was/is never the same. If the girl has mono don't hook up with her. But if its past the contagious period it is fine and u should go for it.

When I had mono I was deathly ill. Couldn't swallow. Could barely breathe. It was terrible.

Some people come to E46OT for advice about women. Some people come to E46OT for advice about health matters.

OP has done both in one thread. Who says kids these days are underachievers?

Either pursue her and risk getting Mono, or don't pursue her,...stay home and use your Mano.

It's either Mono or Mano .... You decide

Chances are you've been with a chick that's had mono (or similar) and you just don't know about it...

Would you date a girl that's had the chickenpox before?

Haha. This thread is ridiculous. Yes, Mono is a form of herpes, herpes zoster. This is the same as chicken pox and shingles. Mono is a bitch, but dude really?

You realize that there's a solid chance that every girl you've ever been with has had mono in her system, right?
