Side marker brands that don't fit?

Has anyone else had problems with after market side markers not fitting? I just bought one that looks fine in comparison but the clip is way to high. I want something clear with a clean look. This is what I went with that did not fit for me:

Also has anyone sed LED bulbs in these? before this I had halogen and grey/smoked markers. It really didn't match the front I just want a clean look.

Yea most of depo brands aftermarket sidemarkers usually do not as good plus with the clear they usually get moisture in there and start yellowing you need to get OE clear sidemarkers from turnermotorsports.com

I ended up getting a better quality set of smoked side markers hopefully they will fit. The clear one's I actually had to melt the plastic to get the metal holding clip deeper into the marker just to allow it to sit loose. These at least will match my smoked corners. For some reason the clear side markers didn't look right on my car (silver metalic)

BTW. Does anyone know off hand if it's illegal not to have amber bulbs when turning? I have LED corners and side markers, I got a ticket about 4 months ago for "after market headlights" with a set of projectors claiming they were modified. The cops were doing some type of sting though on the road I was on and pulling over everyone due to some "cruising" problem on Sunday nights and writing tickets, so I think I just got unlucky.
