Looking to add bluetooth - help?
Hi, Guys -
Relatively new here, bought my first BMW about a month ago - 2005 325xi, titanium silver, 108,000 - all maintence up to date at BMW dealer, assuming it had CPO coverage up until 100,000. I've read and searched and saw parrot mentioned, but didn't quite understand, then I stumbled across this unit - my assumptions are that I can easily plug it into my receiver in the trunk (navigation head unit) and from there can attach the bluetooth dongle, and also run a USB cable to charge my android. - Will I have full functionality of the head until \ wheel controls for calls? - Thinking I can also use the other connection port to add sirius? Any thoughts, suggestions, comments on this particular unit? Seems like a good price, USB \ Bluetooth for under $200.00? http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_trks...at=0&_from=R40 http://stores.ebay.com/Grom-Audio-Di...=p4634.c0.m322 ***assuming the factory mic above my mirror won't work - hoping I can run this one and use the existing location, I'm pretty set on keeping the stock look \ feel. Haven't been able to find the cd changer connection cable in the trunk either, thought all these models came pre wired. Appreciate any help in advance! |

Buy the Parrot, it's tried and true. There are extensive DIY instructions on how to install it.
