omg A e46 Registered User Join Date: Aug 2012 Location: brentwood ca Posts: 101 My Ride: 323i View My Garage	Slight chain tapping noise ? I can hear a chain tapping noise at idle and when I tap the gas peddle a little bit. It sounds like its hiting the top of the valve cover. I don't know if the vanos seals have ever been changed and it's has 206k on it.
