You guys know of any shops in the eastbay that will plasti-dip? I have friend with a lease that wants to black out kidneys, window trim, badges and wheels. I'm going to have him buy the badges and maybe a set of black or gunmetal wheels or MAYBE have them powder-coated (BMW will love that).

The window trim and badges though, I think plasti-dip is the way to go. Any recommendations or has anyone heard of any shops (even if you don't have any experience with them)?

Why doesn't he vinyl the badges and pdip the trim himself? The trim should be easy to mask off.

There is a guy in Sac who does plasti dip. I'm pretty sure his name is whooty.

Pasti dip - not even once.

Pasti dip - not even once.

This guys an exec who isn't going to be spraying anything himself.

I was able to find matte kidneys, matte badges and a vinyl place to do the window trim. I'm going to try to convince him to buy some new wheels. Maybe Anthracite or Satin Black Apex http://www.apexraceparts.com/ARC-8-1...ies_p_132.html.

If not, I may look for a powder coater. I would be okay with window trim but I'm not real keen on having him plasti-dip full wheels.
