best springs for 325xi to keep stock comfort
starting a new thread based on where my original question was going
typical story I think, broken rear spring. Car is a daily driver, will see potholes and snow. Can't seem to locate a non-factory rear spring replacement (factory is $175 each). Considering eibach and other kits, but don't want to lose any comfort for daily driving. Any suggestions or recommendations? I don't care how it looks, I'd make it look like a rally-car if I had my choice.. coilovers aren't in the budget. I don't care if it gets lowered a little either.. better handling is a bonus, but I really just want it to ride nice over rough roads. I have new Bilstien's waiting to go in Last edited by bikesandcars; 10-24-2012 at 12:38 PM. |

Use eibach springs for xi with the bilsteins. OE, Eibach, or HnR are the only options. Stay away from HnR.

nothing to lose but ride-height I guess I've been doing a lot of outside searching too in the last 2 hours and came up with the same conclusion... I placed an order for eibach and will update on installation. Thanks! |

Eibachs are topically a softer riding spring than the H&Rs, so you made the right choice with daily driven comfort in mind.
