Poor lighting
Can or has anyone on here changed there projector xenon lights out and went with halogen instead. Im looking at removing the whole assembly and going with a halogen assembly and was wonding if any wiring has to be changed. This is on a 2003 325i

I would start changing your bulbs out? Checking for burned projector bowls? There's no way you would get a benefit going from OE Xenon to aftermarket halogen.

Bad move. Can you take a pic of your lighting at night?
What color are the bulbs emitting? Are they leveled properly? Do you have AL or ZKW lights?

the lights are factory 4300k phillips d2s 35w. i just changed them to a aftermarket 6000k d2s 35w bulb but could not tell any difference so i put the original bulbs back in. the lighting is very dim on the car,is there any way to check the ballast?
