ZHP Springs with non-sport shocks?
What will happen? Will there be any negative effects from putting this set up into my wife's wagon?
I do not want to prematurely blow out shocks because the springs are too stiff...

No. The spring rates aren't different enough to have an ill effect.

zsp and zhp springs are the same.
putting shorter springs on a taller made shock will likely blow the shock out sooner in many conditions. also cause the shock to work harder as its travel is limited. this overworking degrades its performance. Is it optimal..no. Could you get away with it..yes. I'm just telling you some of the effects. But it's somewhat counter-productive??

You could get away with it, but they will wear out even faster. I don't know how worn your shocks are now so it's hard to say. I doubt a few years, but it depends on your conditions, use/abuse of them.

Hmm, well, last I remember when I did her brakes a few months ago, the front springs looks pretty damned nice, but the rears were crackling and rusted at the bottom, a crack waiting to happen. I will have to inspect the carefully. It is a wagon, it sees no hard abuse other than a woman driving around with no care for potholes and what's in the street, but does not get driven hard by any means. It's her daily driver, and our vacation car, so there are times when it gets loaded to the top with crap when we go on vacation. I suppose I will have to pull the rears and inspect them carefully before doing anything. Have two basically brand new OE sachs struts coming in from another fanatic, so I'll need to pick up some rears as well, and then inspect. Shocks are F*** soooo beat dude you have no idea. I have no clue how she can drive around like that it's like metal on metal! Did control arms and bushings last spring because they were shot, but it didn't make that much of a difference because the shocks are so so so bad. 160K on that car on the OE shocks!!!!
