Nice OP, my mom has one and man does that thing go when you floor it. As for the tranny you eventually get use to it. I'd choose Nissan over Toyota/Lexus any day.

If you don't mind me asking, what is your lease payment on the Maxima?

I had a 4th gen 5 speed SE a long while back that I had given a few bells and whistles. They are awesome cars with great power, but one of the main attractions was the manual. When that went out the window so did the car IMO.
I considered a 5.5gen 6 speed instead of the E46... Would have been cheaper and faster. But I wanted a higher caliber of car and I chose that over an extra 20 ponies. |

Funny because I could afford to by your "6speed BMW" not insure it, wreck it and move on without a second thought. I wanted something with a little style(love the max look) and easy on my pocket. Dont be a punk

i've never ridden in a nicer riding car than an LS.
i'm guessing you've never owned a lexus. the bmw 7 can't even hold a candle the the LS in ride quality and luxury.

if i ever were to buy a japanese car, it would definitely be a nissan. i especially love the amount of room in maximas(as well as the altimas, which is a huge difference from the old ~90s altimas). nice ride, enjoy it in good health!

Sweet looking ride OP. I've been thinking about getting into a sedan, and the Maxima is at the top of the list. With deals like that, it's hard to say no!

No, it's pretty easy. The answer to the family sedan question is always answered with a MT Accord.
