Lighting at center vents?

Cute. Footwell lighting comes on when you open the door. Helps you see into the vehicle. Same purpose as the overhead light. Unless you are confusing it with ambiance lighting, which is for...you guessed it...ambiance.

If someone made some sort of aftermarket vent that had illuminated heating/cooling knobs, I'd buy it in a heartbeat. I always forget which is hot/cold at night and just guess.

OEM BMW orange color for the center dots, then a light blue for cold, dark-ish but not too dark red for hot.

That would also be a pretty awesome mod if someone figured out a way to pull that off.

That works! Unlike this Ford. Every time you reach for this switch you have to remember that pressing the RAISED button LOWERS the door locks.
