It does not. Your owner's manual should have the capacity listed under maintenance.

7 qts. for non-M/ non-Xi

Technically, 6.9 qts. or 6.5L

What car do you have? It is in your Owner's Manual...and if you don't have one, you can google it and find it online.

keep in mind by *adding* 7 new quarts to a drained crankcase, you actually end up with much more. i believe bmw (or any other car mfr) built in a safety buffer. but yes 7 quarts is how much you add. Probably end up with 8.5 qts in the end after adding

If it's not listed in RealOEM then I should get ETK software that provide the Oil Capacity under additional information's menu entry.

back in the day it was not allowed for download as it was a BMW licensed copyrighted product. I had to buy mine from bmw before realoem came to be. not cheap either.
there are 1-2 more online ETK diagrams websites. one other is bmwfans[/img] ** SPAM LINK BLOCKED ** Report this post to the moderators [img]parts/catalog

but just ask us and we can tell you oil capacity

If you have a friend who has access to www.dealerspeed.com, I'm sure that can tell you.
