Off-center steering wheel
My steering wheel is a bit off center. Would that indicate bad alignment or it may just need a little adjustment? Where and how? Car drives straight and does not pull left or right...if that would rule out alignment issue

Textbook alignment issue.
Also a possibility, if someone ever took off the steering wheel, they might not have aligned the hatch marks.

Bad alignment technique at minimum. Many shops make adjustments but don't center the wheel. If your spension isnt worn then suggest taking it to a shop for a proper lineup ( or do it yourself with string if you are bold)

Handle it before you start getting steering angle position codes.
