so basically the storm has nowhere to go but nw

they are saying this could have the lowest mb pressure of a storm this far north ever, worse than the perfect storm of 91

gonna suck 2 days with no power that's for sure

My Ride: Long Gone
During last year's Nor'easter on Halloween (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2011_Ha...n_nor%27easter) we got almost 2 feet of snow in about 4 hours (Northern Connecticut). It was like a war zone, there were trees down and roads blocked all over the state. We lost power for 8 days (luckily I have a generator). We had to drive almost an hour through a mess of downed trees to wait in line for gas the entire week. I spent a week with a chainsaw cleaning up my land. It was a complete mess...

... I really hope this storm is not as severe; but I am loading up on food, water & fuel this weekend in preparation nevertheless... Ugh.

Florida...its like california without the ghets and liberals and their ghey laws. And we have an east coast and west coast. No earthquakes. And year round nice weather as well. And we dont have overpopulation and every highway isnt a parking lot like it is out there.

Yeah, and it's never humid or anything in FL. There's a reason why there's a game called "Germany or Florida." And there's a reason why the freeways are packed: more people want to live here

Except Florida gets wiped out by a hurricane every few years.

California sucks, please don't come. Stay away.

Yea, I agree. I might hold up in the studio in carlisle for a few days... Not sure how my property will fair.

We will see. Both predictions of the storm show us getting it hard, so either way, we are gonna get hit.
