Cold air intakes? - Page 3

It's sold by a local BMW enthusiast with his own small BMW performance parts business here in Canada (Rebirth Motorsports). He mostly sells from the MaxBimmer.com forums. Its essentially an Ebay re-branded cold air intake, so the exact same thing as a cosmos.

I know cosmos sells hydrowrap (I believe that's what it's called, not sure) for that purpose

I drive around the puddle/get very scared. It's also just about time to go back to stock for the winter. I put the stock box on during the winter as its the most likely time of year to have flooding/the roads are too messy to drive fast anyways.

Yep, i run the hydro wrap on my cosmos, i still avoid big puddles but ive never had a problem with it

Wait Michael Jackson is dead? and Why close such humor and informative factual knowledge. Obviously, everyone is going to have their opinion, but it is good to hear from those that do have intakes and what their opinion is/dyno results. Iceman is not acting like he knows everything, but he brings more proof then a wiki article that has a giant banner screaming "does not cite reference or source"

It should be common knowledge that your not going to see 20% gains from a CAI, but if you want to pay the $$$$ for the HP gains (or kilowatts if you prefer Back To The Future standards) then so be it.
