Here is a photo for your consideration. I just purchased this car (my first BMW) recently and have put about 1,000 miles on it in past last week. Weather forecast is for snow this week, so unfortunately it's going into storage for the winter tomorrow. Won't be back on the road until next spring (May).

Valentino.....Rossi.....THE Valentino Rossi? Wow! ;-)
I saw Valentino race in the Redbull MotoGP at Laguna Seca last year. Go 46!! As much as I love Ducati motorcycles.....I hope Rossi will get a more competitive cycle with Yamaha next year. Maybe BMW will jump into the MotoGP fray in time for Rossi to ride a Beemer some day. (Oh yeah!!). Re my photo.....clearly, I have lived in Alaska for TOO LONG. As beautiful as the scenery here in Alaska is, I can't take my eyes off that bone stock Titanium Silver 325Ci. ![]() I could have parked this Bimmer in front of an Alaskan glacier and I still would have had my eye on the car. Needless to say, we can't compare the CRT bikes with full on MotoGP, factory developed and supported bikes. I have no doubt that if BMW decided to devote sufficient resources to a factory MotoGP team, they could be competitive.....just as they have been in WSBK racing with the S1000RR (2nd place Manufacturers standing in 2012).
My RWD 325Ci went into storage for the duration of winter today......an hour later it started snowing. Last edited by PhotonRyder; 10-29-2012 at 10:39 PM. |
