I have started searching for M54B30 connecting rods, pistons and camshafts tonight and saw this post. Never posted on E46fanatics but I guess now is as good a time as any! I'd love to talk as I WILL be getting some very soon (as in 3-4 weeks tops).

Dang, I'm really sorry but I'm gonna have to retract my last message. As it turns out I just found a pretty solid M54B30 about an hour's drive north of me for a great price. I hope you get some more offers!

What are the years of the engines? I am looking for the post '03 SAP valve and hose (the one that does not have a vacuum hose running to the valve, and it just opens by pressure from the SAP Pump).

I have one from a 1999 323 manual......not sure if it is compatible though. I can check if you are still looking.
