s.zep Registered User Join Date: Oct 2012 Location: Orange County, CA Posts: 1 My Ride: 2003 325ci View My Garage	Jet-like noise coming from under hood First post, first BMW, sorry if I posted in the wrong area. (and if it drags on..) Just purchased a 03' 325ci 2 months ago w/120,000 mi. at purchase. Everything with the car is running great and I have no check engine light on, but about a month ago when the temperature dropped at night in my area my car would make a whiney jet-like noise the next day. It would only last for about 10 seconds then go away. But 2 weeks ago the noise has started to prolong and now goes on for about 2-4 minutes (or until my car is fully warmed up). I've done some research and the symptoms point to the Secondary Air system, but I have no clue Car is a manual trans.. Anyone know where the secondary air pump is located so I can check it for rips or holes? I know it's only getting worse. Will post a video later tonight
