I was talking with Whammy other other weekend at a car meet, and we were saying how we need to get a meet together before it gets too cold. Who in the area would like to be part of this and what days in the next three weeks would work for everyone?

I'm in for anywhere around the Madison area. I am getting my clutch replaced this week

. I have indoor soccer games Friday nights so that is a no go for me.

I feel your pain. My wallet is still screaming after paying for both the clutch and flywheel.........

How much did it run you. They quoted me around 1,700.00. I play @ Breakaway and Keva pretty much year round.

For clutch and flywheel, that is about what I paid (stock parts about $1,000). Mine was slightly higher because the rear main seal was replaced along with some exhaust gaskets. Who is doing the work? Kelly-Moss Motorsports did mine.

I play at Breakaway during winter. Got a game this Friday actually.

Ok thats what I figure my parts to be around. I'm getting it done at the dealer. Kelly moss does not communicate well with me so I don't give them my business.
I play there Friday as well. 7pm field 1

I would have to agree with you Kelly-Moss has had difficulties at times with communication. Lately for me it has been good, however I've been overly communicative with them. I know it is just two people in the street shop. I wonder if they have considered hiring a third mechanic to keep cars flowing in and out.

Zimbrick on the other hand I dislike. They rip you off on parts and it can be a pain at times to work with the SAs. At the same time my clutch/flywheel was on its last days, my fuel pump went out. Zimbrick wanted 15% above MSRP just for the pump. I got the pump shipped for 75% of MSRP and installed it myself. I will not go there unless I absolutely have to.

We should try and meet up. I'm on field #2 for my 6pm game. Our team is black.
