Is Bentley manual wrong on ZHP rear stabilizer bar size?
Yes, I searched the forums and found confirmation of the FRONT being 24mm (or there abouts....23.88mm or so per BMW....also confirmed it in the Bentley manual)
However, Bentley 99 - 05 manual says the REAR is 19mm while the consensus on the forum and BimmerWiki is the REAR is 18 mm. Can anyone confirm from experience the Bentley manual is incorrect on the size of the REAR? |

Here's what I show....
E46 330 ZHP Coupe + Sedan 33 55 1 094 545 up to 04/2001 19mm 33 55 1 095 758 from 04/2001 18mm E46 330 ZHP Conv 33 55 1 095 758 18mm Standard suspension only 33 55 6 751 267 20mm Sports suspension or M Sports II What I assume happened is Bentley made 2 versions of this book, the first came out in '01. Maybe when they researched that portion of the book the measurement was accurate? When they redid the E46 book to include '02-'06 models I'm guessing they only looked at those models and just kept the old info and assumed it was still valid? Just a guess. Just curious, where are you in the manual that even shows that? Last edited by ian02; 10-27-2012 at 02:21 PM. |

Don't know what's in the Bentley. My stock rear bar is 18 mm. M Sport II is not the same as ZHP.
