Or is there a general place to buy them (e.g. Walmart).

I'm not sure if they even sell them in the states, which is why I ask.
Where I get mine. Can't find it locally. Shiet is from Japan....

Anyone have long curly hair. I need some suggestions. And don't say cut it.

I have dark brown thick, curly hair (Think of Vince Chase in Entourage). At the time it was long, I usually went with Garnier Surf Hair. It's a paste that results in the hair natural and flowy, but thick enough to hold it in place and give it bounce.

At the moment I'm rocking American Crew Pomade. Nothing to write home about, but when my hair is short, I don't really give a monkeys what I'm using. During the week for work, I usually use Brylcreem.

Anyone use Lock, Stock and Barrel? My salon now carries it.
I usually like light-Medium shaping creams but sometimes I like a little more hold. American Crew Fiber is sometimes a little too heavy for the everyday thing. I don't like the wet-spiky look of gels anymore. I prefer a more natural shine.

Back in late 80's in highschool i'd go through tubs of KMS gel, I had an asian hightop...long 6"-8" bangs styled straight up that it would poke out the sunroof, lol.

I went with Redken 5th Ave grip tight medium hold gel.

This, along with a hairspray is actually what Jon Hamm uses in "Mad Men"! I was surprised there was no pomade or wax/paste in his wardrobe playing a 60's character but no. It holds really well for a gel and doesn't flake at all. Although my hair is technicay way too long for this this type of product at this point it still works really well on my hair, just uses more product. Smells really good too.
