I'm already looking at upgrading headlamps to "halo" or "angel eyes". Need to find someone who installs locally.....

Welcome! Also if your headlights are factory sealed, you are going to have a tough time getting angel eyes in there.

Yeah I've concluded that. That's why I'd want someone to professionally install them rather than attempt it myself. I definitely need to upgrade my HIDs...they are the yellowish looking HIDs. Either that or I don't have real HID bulbs.....

I know I have H7 bulbs for the high beams. What do I have for the low beam projectors?

Yeah there pretty hard to install on facelift coupe for some people, There's always the bake method, but I used a Heat gun instead.. Welcome mate!

For those who would upgrade to just the angel eyes, that seems like a good way to go. To keep it simple and because I don't trust myself, I will probably just upgrade the whole unit instead. For now, I plan on upgrading the H7 bulbs to something a little more brighter. I took my son for spin last night and he even mentioned how bad the low beams were.

good luck finding a place that will do it. most places wont deal with baking headlights because they dont want to be responsible.

Up to you sir, either, you buy a pair of eBay ugly halogen headlights for like 400, or do it yourself cheaper, now I saw a member here selling a RARE set of facelift headlamps, lemme get the link for you, hopefully he's still got it.

Finally found them! http://forum.e46fanatics.com/showthread.php?t=951486You need to get these, there in great shape. And $300 is a great price! My angel eyes cost me more than $300 but there 16 colors, but I'm only running 5000k-8000k or red.. But these are perfect, just easy plug and play..

Thanks for looking that up. I'm going to pass for now. I bought some Phillips Extremes today and I'll just use those until I upgrade fully. I also stopped by the BMW dealer ordered a manual for the navigation and phone system; those not available for download on the BMW website.
