How to eliminate rasp on 330 (with headers & racing cats installed)

Hey guys,
I've recently installed schmiedmann headers & cats. I have an eisenmann race muffler on the car prior to the headers and cats.
After i installed the headers & cats, my car became raspy (especially at top end). Sounds exactly like a stock m3 . I know some of you guys love the rasp sound, but personally im not a fan.

So my question is, if i replaced the cats with the oem section 1 resonator& cats (note that my car is euro spec therefore has cats in resonator section 1, will it eliminate the rasp? Or is there any other way to eliminate this rasp?

The kind of sound i am looking for is the deep throaty sound that eisenmann race mufflers give or will i never achieve that again since i installed headers?

i know by just installing the headers and nothing else, the exhaust produces the raspy sound, as seen in this thread http://forum.e46fanatics.com/showthread.php?t=797572.

my advice would be to add as many mufflers into the system as possible. I feel I was able to remove the rasp finally by adding an extra muffler into the magnaflow cat-back system. I posted some detail on it in a thread, do a quick search and see if you can locate it.

I've came across your thread before, but i thought the x pipe eliminates rasp best in the OEM section 1 ?
If i added the magnaflow 11386 in the section 2 (right before the muffler) will it still help eliminate rasp as well? I think that's where you put yours, but we have different setups. so im not sure.

headers - the bane of my automotive existence

Wrap your headers with DEI titanium/LR exhaust wrap, which is what I did, and my 330i is not raspy whatsoever. I do still have my stock exhaust BUT I have seen plenty of videos and cars in person that do not have the headers wrapped and there is a definite difference. I read that wrapping would help with rasp/noise (not to mention HEAT!) and it truly did. Before anyone jumps down my throat and objects to wrap don't be a retard and do a little research and don't regurgitate stupid peoples opinions or give your own. I will go ahead and address the idea of moisture being a problem and say that's ridiculous; if you are worried about it use DEI's high-temp silicone paint which acts as a moisture barrier and protects against corrosion.

Thanks for the advice, but taking out the headers again is too much work lol. cbf.
What i am going to try is, replace oem section 2 resonator box with 2 AR20s, see how that works out.
