the only FPS I can stand is Battlefield 3, but on PC only, as it sucks on PS3 / 360

Haha I was about to say I hated Battlefield 3, but I never played on PC. I think the last PC game I played were one of the old Rainbow Six games. COD had potential after the first MW, no it's just spray and pray crap. Besides crappy story lines and publishers rushing development, I think the sytem has reached it's limitaions on what we expect from it.

I play for maybe an hour or two a few nights a week after I get off work at midnight. Not much by any standard.

I spend more then double that surfing eBay and craigslist for car stuff.

Started the campaign last night. Either this game is a lot harder than Halo 3 or I've just lost my touch over the years...

I've read that it's more difficult in the way the battles are fought. The enemy units actually provide support to each other and work more cohesively. True?

No more of that 'be the first to kill the master chief, screw the rest' crap that is/was the standard of the covenant.

I haven't noticed that they fight more together but I have noticed them being more aware of their surroundings. The grunts seem to be more willing to run for cover and shoot from behind things and the elites will fight till their shields are down and then go for cover.

This also means that it's less run and gun and more fight and head for cover until the shields recharge.
