Great watch, but I dont like the maxi-case . I saw your posts on TRF, and you sold your Exp II 42mm for this? I wanted to get a GMT IIc but I feel that the ceramic bezels are too flashy. The ones on the 116610 and 114060 look better as they're not as shiny, but still flashy compared to the aluminum inserts on the 16610.

Technically, got the Sub in September, sold it for the exp II, then sold that for this Sub over a month ago.

Yes the maxi case is a bit much, but you get used to it. The GMT-C has slimmer lugs which is welcome. You can always brush the bracelet, and you have a great watch. I would have done it myself, but I found the sub for just a few hundred more. If you are looking for a pre-owned watch the GMTs can be had at a great price!

I totally hear you on the flashiness of the Ceramic bezel on either model, but again it's something you get used to. Its black at some angles, and grey at other angles.

I love my GMT IIC, the bezel isnt flashy at all, the polish center link are tho. Ive been wearing it less since I got my LV ceramic submariner

The one you posted has been PVD (black). You can get a used GMT IIC for about ~$6500 now. I bought mine new when it first came out for a lil above $8K.

I definitely like the GMT IIc more than the Sub C because of it's slimmer lugs (like what Solo mentioned) and the added complication, and I'm still considering getting one. How do you like the Hulk? I saw the WG with the blue face/bezel and it was awesome! Definitely stands out, and you can feel the heft

jesus a lot of nice watches here. I need to step my watch game up. Not a big watch person, but I've been looking into a Hublot or Rolex, maybe someday soon.

I am aware of Panarai. And I have never seen anyone with one of those other than this thread....I am not in a BOOMING TOWN....Lots of OBAMA phones here
