I was just in new Rochelle and got gas no problem. Maybe 4 people in front of me. I also filled up two 5 gallon jugs and delivered it to my father in law in bayside. I went by my house in Suffolk the other day. Parked next door and waited on the line for cans for about 30 minutes. My wife and I got 17 gallons in 4 cans. The car line was as far as the eye could see. I suggest getting two 5 Gallon jugs and waiting online until this **** blows over. You can't get premium anywhere around here 87 only.

OP we live in the same area, i drive out to CT every two days to gas up. only 45 mins of my time compare to the 4-10 hour wait.

This is absolutely true.

The urban world is always on the verge of riots, chaos, and destruction when faced with such situations. If utilities cease to exist or we run out of supplies, there will be grave consequences.

Thanks but I think im going out to fort lee NJ. As soon as I get this craigslist gas I will take a drive over there. Hopefully I can filler up. Never had to worry about getting fuel for my car and not having gas is a major incovenience.

As much as I hate paying $70 for 5 gallons, if it wasn't for these guys, I would be stuck since I do not have enough gas to wait on those 4 hours lines.

Called Acura roadside assistance a few times and they said they are not able to find anyone that can deliver gas to me. They said everyone is out..

go to ct and buy gas $14.75 in tolls from where i am in long island but no lines and i get gas without frustration. take the i-95 to about exit 22 (dont stop earlier than this bc others have decided to trek out to ct and there are lines at the closer exits) and ull get gas easily once u purchase the 5 gallons on CL

Can you call AAA? I'd call for u and use my membership if they allow it.

If you can try to make it to NJ or the border of CT. Go in the middle of the night when there is no traffic.

Just came from.jersey right outside the Holland no lines and then another station in Brooklyn on Flatbush and lefferts no line at all

Why do you "need" gas so badly?

I am from Boston but last weekend I made a trip to jersey to see the gf. I was worried about getting gas there, and originally i was right. 2a-3a driving thru upper Nj and lower NY lines were half a mile long. I was like "aww shhh". But after the fourth or so rest stop on the turnpike (coming from north) at like 330 am there was no line, filled up 93octane, for cheaper than I paid in mass. Then I got off at the rt206 (I think) to ac and there was a sunoco there, no line, for 19cents cheaper than I just paid, I assume there was gas there because there was someone at a pump. Hope this helps

The same people who make fun of me for hoarding supplies are the same people who will come crying to my house.

For $2000 in supplies and $2000 in cash, you can prepare your family for just about anything within reason.

You can be better prepared than 90% for $500 in supplies (+ gun and ammo.)

People wear $5000 watches but dont have a gallon of water at home. I just don't get it.

Maybe its a Florida hurricane thing for me, I dunno.

I will stay paranoid...and alive.

You are soooo right... and don't forget defensive items and liquor, too (not kidding)...

i was meaning to make a bug out bag/closet at home for a while now and this week i finally ordered everything and stocked up on some necessities. i still feel about not being able to own a gun though.

I honestly have no idea what I would do without a gun.

I literally turn around and go back home if I forget one.

It may seem silly from the outside, but after carrying for 15 years, it becomes like forgetting your glasses.

Are you not even allowed to keep one in your home in NYC?

In Florida, any non-felon can keep one in their glovebox.
