E92 328xi motor swap into 03 325xi?

Anything is possible with the right amount of money and time. Better question is why.

Seriously tho 328 is a different motor do electronics is your only problem but I don't see it happening unless you are totally motivated because your engine is blown and the m52tub28 is in your drive way

My buddy has a spare motor from when he crashed his car. He also has the whole wiring harness so I was just wondering what it'd take to get it done.

Not worth it. The whole electronic system is different between the two engines. Not to mention it would take substantial recoding of the car's systems to get everything to mesh together.

If you really want to do an engine swap, I suggest looking for a good M54B30 to put into your car. Either that or just buy a new car.

Why swap yours though ?
Plus you can swap 330 zhp m54b30
It will be plug and play just reprogramming and that s all
