NEW budget wheels or USED baller wheels?
I've been looking at new wheel/tire options and have come to realize even if I go with a budget wheel like an APEX EC-7 or ARC-8 17x9 or 18x9... whatever, I am going to be shelling out about $1800.00 for them, and that is a BUDGET wheel with bang for buck tires...
I have seen the used wheel market and it seems similar to buying a brand new car vs a used one. I have seen anything from OEM 18' Style 67 M wheels with next to new tires for $800... I've seen BBS RG with some flaws and nice tires for $1,500 when new they probably cost a crap load... It seems like you basically get the rubber almost for free and a huge chunk of discount on the wheels because they are used or have a stupid flaw or two. What do you think? It'd be nice to have a BRAND new wheel, but I'm not rich.

Real wheels>reps. Use elbow grease and refinish them. Don't EVER pay $800 for M68's.
