Does a coaches salary work against the cap? or is it just the players? that would be epic to see the zen master again. I miss seeing his big chair on the floor.

Phil Jackson has reportedly canceled a speaking engagement next week. Is this a sign?

i don't know if i want phil. the thing i don't like about phil is that he forces his players to play his style of ball instead of using his players to their natural potentials. the only pllayers on the current roster who have experience with the triangle offense is kobe, pau, metta, and maybe blake. if phil insists on instilling his complicated triangle offense at this point of the season, it's just gonna become another fail. also, if phil and his triangle offense is in, then they might as well just trade nash.

D'Antoni's upset that Jackson called a timeout when the Lakers are up by 30.

Phil's response: "What the (beep) is wrong with you? Go sit down!"

Pj is meeting with the Lakers today. If all his demands are met then he will be the new coach.

It's not confirmed, but I think it's basically if the Lakers association can agree to Phil's requests, then he's on board.

Most likely it'll go through.
