E46 330 FS: Front Control Arm Bushings & Others

Unfortunately, I'm no longer an E46 owner. I just traded it in for a new IS350 last weekend.

That being said I have a few parts for sale that I purchased in hopes of repairing the car. It was a 2002 330i.

do the control arm bushings have to be pressed in? or the old ones cut out? I need a set, just curious on the type of job it is.

The bushings are already pushed into a new carrier. Here is a DIY guide I found online:

I appreciate the information. I had a wheel bearing go out not long ago. Had it replaced, it didn't last a month. I found out the bearing needed pressed on. So I bought a used hub bearing assembly. All I had to do was unbolt the tie rod and ball joint. long story short, It started the growling noise again. This time, there's no up and down movement, but enormous side to side, tie rods are tight. With a little more looking I seen all the movement is coming from those bushings. They most defiantly need changed. I'm hoping that's causing the growling noise. I'm going to have to change the ball joint and tie rod also. Because of my lack of knowledge, I damaged the rubber boots when I changed out the wheel bearing assembly. live and learn
